AMAZING ACCOMPLISHMENTS - 2
A group of dedicated students from B.Sc. (Honors) Nutrition and Dietetics achieved a remarkable feat by clinching 1st prize at the CME (Continuing Medical Education) event titled ‘Nutrition: Fuel for the Future’ which took place at Dr BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences Mohali on 22nd September 2023.
Competing against other esteemed colleges, our students demonstrated unparalleled expertise in the field of nutrition and its critical role in shaping the future. Our team’s exceptional knowledge, innovative ideas, and comprehensive research in the field of nutrition not only impressed the judges but also left a lasting impact on the audience. This victory underscores our commitment to academic excellence and showcases our college’s prowess in nurturing future leaders in the field of Nutrition.
The CME event offered a forum for discussion on nutrition’s potential and crucial position in contemporary healthcare. A wide range of topics were addressed by workshops, lectures, and panel discussions that made up the CME.
The winners are as follows:
- INSTAGRAM REEL COMPETITION – 3rd prize With the theme of healthy and nutritious food, Hunny Prajapat secured the third position in this competition.
- NUTRITIOUS CULINARY COMPETITION – 1st Prize Students prepared Amaranth bars and foxtail millet laddu to promote the consumption of millet in various snacks.
