LABS
Chandigarh College of Hospitality has a well-equipped, state of art labs for all the all the departments i.e. food production labs, Bakery and confectionery lab, Housekeeping lab, front office lab, Nutrition and dietetics lab , tourism lab and computer lab where the students get hand on training to shape their future. The splendid design and decor of the infrastructure provides confidence among the students and they gain superiority among the same age group students from other institutes when they go on Industrial training.
1. FOOD PRODUCTION
The food production department at Chandigarh College of Hospitality incorporates state of art laboratories for experiential learning. The college has three state-of-the-art Kitchens namely the Basic Training Kitchen (BTK), the Advanced Training Kitchen (ATK) and the Quantity Food Kitchen (QFK) which are fully equipped with the latest appliances, cooking range, refrigeration, and all the other modern gadgets and equipment.
BASIC TRAINING KITCHEN (BTK)
The Basic Training Kitchen lays the groundwork for young, aspiring students of hospitality to become chefs. It serves as a training kitchen for first-year students, assisting them in comprehending the fundamentals of food production.
QUANTITY FOOD KITCHEN (QFK)
Quantity food production encompasses the preparation of large quantity of food items ranging from appetizers to curries, roasts, snacks, salads and sweets according to the nutritional value.
BAKERY & CONFECTIONARY
The students gain knowledge about various techniques vital in preparation of these items and the ideal temperature and time required to cook it. The 1st year Bakery is also well equipped with modern equipment such as deck ovens, planetary mixers etc.
2. FRONT OFFICE
The front office lab is beautifully designed in the form of a hotel lobby to give practical exposure of working in the front office department of a five star hotel. The lab is also equipped with IDS software which is used in top category hotels.
3. HOUSEKEEPING
The House keeping lab at Chandigarh College of Hospitality comprises of a mock room where the students are taken through the housekeeping procedures such as: Making of room, bed, cleaning and turndown service etc.
LAUNDRY & LINEN ROOM
The institute also has a laundry lab for training in use of complex laundry equipments like calendaring machines, steam press, water extractor etc. Training on room decoration, linen management, laundry, and use of chemicals, abrasives, flower arrangement, towel origami, sewing and other related jobs are provided to the students.
DELUXE SUITE ROOM
A deluxe suite measuring to the standards of five star deluxe suites is available to give the students practical exposure in housekeeping.
4. FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICE
Food and beverage department of our college shoulders the responsibility of teaching and Training the students in the art and technique of serving and selling food and beverage. At Chandigarh College of Hospitality, We have three operational restaurants and one bar, namely;
HOT COCOA- This formal fine dining restaurant can sit approximately 100 pax for a meal. The advanced training kitchen provides for the menu to be served here. There is also a mock bar setup in this restaurant which is used to train students in cocktail making and service.

COCKTAIL BAR- Chandigarh College of Hospitality has a fully equipped Training bar named “Cocktail Bar” for training the students to make them learn the nuances of operating the bar and making them Hospitality ready individuals. The Bar is equipped with latest equipment and an experienced bartender cum trainer to train the students.
FLAVORS- In these training restaurant students learns Buffets set up and service, Banquet set up and service. The practical experience provided at Chandigarh College of Hospitality makes the students Industry ready to work flawlessly in renowned hotels and restaurants chains. Wherein the students are imparted all the knowhow of dining etiquettes.
5. TOURISM LAB
The Tourism Lab is a professional setup where students can develop tourism flair. To create the technical concept of tourism study with the different tourism projects, learning of the countries and state terrain. The tourism lab is a platform to ensure the spread of ideas about tourism and hospitality among students.
6. NUTRITION AND DIETETICS LAB
Chandigarh College of Hospitality has a fully furnished dietary and nutritional lab that demonstrates the students how to formulate healthy and therapeutic diets. The students are tasked with arranging the menu methodically, utilizing the nutritional value of the food ingredients.
