INDUCTION PROGRAMME - Day 1

DAY 1

SESSION 1

Female/ Male Grooming Etiquette-

To start with the induction programme 2023 specially designed for freshers, on day 1, 4th August, Chandigarh College of Hospitality organized a session on Grooming Etiquette for the hospitality industry. It was delivered by Ms. Falak Saini, a make-up artist, and Mr. Nishant Jha, Front Office Manager.

SESSION 2

Guest Lecture

Introduction to Hotel Front Office

Mr. Simranjit Singh, Assistant Manager- Front Office, Hyatt Regency, Chandigarh was invited to impart knowledge about the hotel front office and attributes of hotel personnel.

Students were made aware of the various sections of the Front Office department and their functions. Students also learned about the skills they need to acquire as a Hospitality personnel. Overall, it was an interactive session.

SESSION 3

Napkin Folding

Mr. Gunjan and Mr. Parmod our Food and Beverage experts showcased creative napkin-folding techniques. It was a joyous and fun-filled activity for our hospitality students. On the very first day, our students got the hands-on training experience.
