GUEST LECTURE ON RESEARCH DATA ANALYSIS AND HANDLING

A guest lecture on "Fundamentals of Research Data Handling and Analysis" was arranged by the Chandigarh College of Hospitality. Students from the Bachelor of Tourism and Travel Management, Hotel Management and Catering Technology, and Bachelor of Science (Honours) Nutrition and Dietetics programs participated in the session, which was led by Dr. Aman Kumar, Associate Professor at Chandigarh University. With respect to the significance of data processing and analysis in research, Dr. Aman offered insightful explanations. The types of data and their attributes, data collection methods and best practices, data analysis tools and statistical methodologies, software applications for effective data management, interpretation of findings, and research integrity are just a few of the topics he covered in detail.

He urged students to conduct research methodically and emphasized the need for data-driven decision-making across disciplines. The extremely instructive workshop gave students the practical knowledge they needed for both professional development and scholarly research. The presentation was a rewarding experience that reaffirmed the importance of research methods across a range of disciplines.
