Fruit carvings are a wonderful addition to a meal for any special event. It can be served as a decorative table display or centerpiece, or can be used to dress up a fruit or hors d’oeuvres platter.

To acquaint the students with carving skills, The Department of Hotel Management at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran Mohali organized a “Carving Workshop”. Chef Nikita (Carving Chef) & Chef Birbal (Indian section) from Holiday INN Zirakpur, showcased the art of fruit and vegetable craving on pineapples, watermelons, oranges and many more. Students also got a chance to try their hands on fruit carving.
